SOC Analyst (Tier 2)

Fast Cyber Defense is expanding its Security Operations Center and seeking a Tier 2 SOC Analyst. In this role you will triage escalated alerts, conduct threat hunting, and lead incident response activities across multiple client environments using our SIEM and XDR platform.
📋 Requirements
- 2+ years of SOC or incident response experience
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Wazuh, Splunk, or ELK)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and log analysis
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain
- Security+ or CySA+ certification preferred
- Experience with EDR tools (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Defender)
- Basic scripting in Python or PowerShell for automation
🎯 Responsibilities
- Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts from multiple client environments
- Escalate and coordinate response for high-severity incidents
- Develop and refine detection rules and SIEM use cases
- Conduct proactive threat hunting based on IOCs and TTPs
- Produce incident reports and post-incident reviews
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (rotational shifts)
